Brandwatch announced that it has acquired PeerIndex
for its strengths in influencer analytics and mapping. The ten employees of PeerIndex join Brandwatch to integrate their technologies and develop new products, and its office gives Brandwatch a presence in central London.
Details of the cash and equity deal were not disclosed. This is the first acquisition for Brandwatch, which raised $22 million earlier this year.
