HootSuite announced that it acquired Brightkit in July and has developed its product into the new HootSuite Campaigns, a platform for building and managing marketing campaigns in social media channels.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reports that HootSuite has received $35 million in new financing from a group led by Fidelity Investments, bringing the company's implied value near $800 million.
