Evolve24 announced its merger with Sherpa Analytics, another company started by Evolve24 founder Anthony Sardella. The combined company has taken the Evolve24 name and plans to continue with both companies' products for social media intelligence in commercial, government and non-profit markets.
Acquired by Maritz Research in 2010, Evolve24 offers products and services rooted in content analysis of social media for commercial clients. Sherpa Analytics has focused on government and non-profit clients with more specialized tools for analyzing media content and metadata.
Sardella will lead, and Maritz will maintain an ownership interest in the combined company, which will become a separate entity with its own board of directors.
