Genesys announced that it has acquired the assets of the Solariat business to add to the social media engagement capabilities of its customer experience and contact center platforms. The company plans to integrate Solariat's SocialOptimizr into the Genesys Agent Desktop, and to apply Solariat's artificial intelligence capabilities in the Genesys Customer Experience Platform.
A statement on the Solariat web site says, "Solariat has been acquired by Genesys and Social Optimizr will be soon available for general release through their channels."
