DataSift Gets $42 Million in Series C
DataSift 
announced that it has received $42 million in a Series C funding round led by Insight Venture Partners with participation from existing investors Scale Venture Partners, Upfront Ventures, IA Ventures, Northgate Capital, Daher Capital and Cendana Capital.
DataSift says it will use the investment to support product development, continue global expansion, expand sales and marketing, develop the social data ecosystem and expand into new data types, including internal enterprise data.
