Keyhole homeKeyhole announced the release of its Twitter-monitoring service, which the company describes as an improvement over the search columns in Twitter clients. The company's site provides several live demonstration topics for exploration of its features, and visitors can configure and preview a new search before committing to creating an account.

Pricing starts at $14/month for a single topic, with a 14-day free trial period.

Simply Measured announced that is has received $8 million in a Series B financing round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. MHS Capital and existing angel investors also participated in the round. The company says that it is profitable, and the outside investment is intended to spur faster development and growth.

Trendspottr announced the launch of TrendSpottr Alerts, a threshold-based alerting service that is offered separately from the company's dashboard product. Alerts is offered under the freemium model, with free accounts limited to one of ten preselected topics.

TrendSpottr Alerts is also available via an API for application developers.

Another $9 Million for NetBase

NetBase announced that it has received an additional $9 million in funding from West Summit Capital and Thomvest Ventures. Considered part of the Series C round announced in June 2012, the new investment brings the total for the round to $23 million.

Visibli announced a new company name, SharedBy.co, and a new monitoring platform, Keyhole. SharedBy offers a social sharing toolbar and associated analytics for engagement management. Keyhole is in private beta; a preview screenshot indicates a focus on Twitter analytics.
