Social Market Analytics Inc. (SMA) is working aggressively to change radically how Social Media is analyzed and understood. While other companies talk about grand plans for the use of Social Media, SMA provides meaningful and actionable market intelligence.

SMA is focused on converting large data into actionable intelligence. With our patent pending algorithms and screening techniques, we provide quantitative clarity to Social Media data.

SMA was founded in 2012 by a core of Financial Professionals with over a hundred years of combined analytical experience. We have extensive experience programming databases and creating analytics for financial clients, including hedge funds, money managers, and investment banks. We combine our extensive analytics capabilities with the latest technologies to assist our clients in getting the most out of social media data.

We set out to apply the same statistical discipline we used when creating trading systems, execution platforms, and databases to the Social Media domain. We have an intimate knowledge of how traders use information and what they need to see in order to make a trading decision. Our metrics provide that information.
