Lithium Ending Klout

Lithium  announced that it is shutting down Klout as a standalone service on May 25. The company says that its acquisition of Klout gave it valuable technology, but the standalone service was not aligned with its strategy. Lithium plans to release a new social impact scoring methodology based on Twitter.

Lithium acquired Klout in 2014 for a reported $200 million.
