The contact-center specialist inContact (NASDAQ: SAAS) announced that it has purchased intellectual property and products from Attensity and that some Attensity engineers will move to inContact. On its website, Attensity detailed that inContact has acquired the DiscoverCore, Analyze, and DiscoverNow technologies, and that customers of DiscoverNow and the on-premises versions of DiscoverCore and Analyze will transition to inContact. Attensity says it will continue to support its other customers.
Attensity Group, Inc. also sold its European subsidiary to a consortium led by IMCap Partners in January. The newly independent company plans to unveil its new name on February 23 at CCW in Berlin.
