Scompler Joins ScribbleLive

ScribbleLive  has acquired Scompler, the developer of a content marketing management platform. The deal adds to ScribbleLive's suite of content marketing tools and gives the company a presence in Germany.

ScribbleLive acquired the influencer analysis specialist Appinions in 2015 and the content creation specialist Visually last month.

Sprinklr Buys Postano

TigerLogic (OTCQX: TIGR) announced an agreement to sell its Postano  business to Sprinklr  in a cash deal worth up to $2.4 million.

Update, 1 April: The transaction has closed.

Attensity Europe announced its new name and market strategy. The company, now known as Sematell, describes itself as a "specialist provider of contact centre software." The ReplyOne product (formerly Respond) is a text analytics platform for processing written customer communication in any channel, including social media.

Attensity Sheds Assets

The contact-center specialist inContact (NASDAQ: SAAS) announced that it has purchased intellectual property and products from Attensity  and that some Attensity engineers will move to inContact. On its website, Attensity detailed that inContact has acquired the DiscoverCore, Analyze, and DiscoverNow technologies, and that customers of DiscoverNow and the on-premises versions of DiscoverCore and Analyze will transition to inContact. Attensity says it will continue to support its other customers.

Attensity Group, Inc. also sold its European subsidiary to a consortium led by IMCap Partners in January. The newly independent company plans to unveil its new name on February 23 at CCW in Berlin.

Sprout Social  announced that it has received $42 million in a Series C investment round from Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division and New Enterprise Associates.

Geofeedia Raises $17 Million

Geofeedia  announced that it has received $17 million in an investment round to fund the continued growth of the company. Silversmith Capital Partners contributed $15 million to lead the round that also included existing investors.

In its announcement, Geofeedia says it gained 200 new customers, grew from 17 to 50 employees, and experienced 250% revenue growth in 2015.
