SDL Selling Off Social Intelligence Business

SDL  announced its intention to sell its social intelligence and non-core businesses. The company entered the social media analysis market with its 2011 acquisition of Alterian—which, in turn, had acquired Techrigy and its SM2 product in 2009. The planned move is intended to refocus SDL on its language and content-management businesses.
