GumGum Raises $26 Million

GumGum  announced that it has received $26 million in Series C financing led by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital. Existing investors including NEA, Upfront Ventures and First Round Capital also participated in the round. The company plans to use the money to support international expansion, research and product development.

Expanding from its in-image advertising business, GumGum is applying its core image-recognition technology in the recently revealed Mantii social media analysis platform.

Clarabridge Acquires Engagor

Clarabridge  announced that it has acquired Engagor  to add real-time social customer service and engagement to its customer experience management suite. The Engagor product will remain available as a separate product and will be offered as part of the Clarabridge suite.

The customer engagement specialist iAdvize announced that it has acquired Bringr  for its social media monitoring capabilities. The deal is reportedly valued at €700,000.
