New Cision Adds Viralheat to Group
Cision 
announced that it has acquired Viralheat to add to its growing set of social media tools. In an announcement, the company said that the Viralheat technologies—available now to US customers—will be extended to the Canadian, Swedish, UK, French and German markets in 2015. The Viralheat team joins Cision as part of the deal.
New Cision was formed last year by the merger of Cision and Vocus by the private equity fund GTCR. The company previously acquired Visible Technologies and Gorkana Group.
