Lithium Technologies announced that it has acquired Klout . The company did not disclose details of the deal, which was reported yesterday to be valued at $200 million in cash and stock.

Lithium plans to incorporate Klout's technology in its platform and says it will share the updated product roadmap at its LINC customer conference in May. Klout's consumer offering and Klout Perks will remain available.

Lithium previously acquired Scout Labs in 2010 and Social Dynamx in 2012.

Lithium Technologies has acquired Klout in a cash and stock deal valued at $200 million, according to a report from Fortune. An announcement is expected in the morning.

Update: Lithium has announced the acquisition.

Spredfast announced its Spredfast Partner Program, through which it is integrating its social media management system with multiple specialist tools. The company listed Actiance , Adobe Omniture, Bazaarvoice, Bit.ly, Brandwatch , Crimson Hexagon , Google Analytics, Kenshoo Social, Klout , Opal, and Symantec Enterprise Vault as current participants in its ecosystem.

Jugnoo announced that relaunch of its primary product as SoMeAnalyzer, which it positioned as a mid-price social media analysis and engagement platform.

ThinkUp announced the public beta of its personal social media analytics platform. The company shared cofounder Gina Trapani's report as a live example of its analysis of Twitter and Facebook activity associated with a user's accounts.

ThinkUp is priced at $60/year for one Twitter and one Facebook account or $120/year for up to 5 accounts on each network.

New Papers, 25 March 2014

Genesys announced that it has acquired the assets of the Solariat business to add to the social media engagement capabilities of its customer experience and contact center platforms. The company plans to integrate Solariat's SocialOptimizr into the Genesys Agent Desktop, and to apply Solariat's artificial intelligence capabilities in the Genesys Customer Experience Platform.

A statement on the Solariat web site says, "Solariat has been acquired by Genesys and Social Optimizr will be soon available for general release through their channels."

Brandwatch announced a new version of its API to offer access to full Twitter data. Following an agreement with Gnip , Twitter data from Gnip is now accessible through the Brandwatch API. Previously, license terms had limited the API to delivering tweet IDs only, requiring API users to integrate separately with a Twitter data provider to "rehydrate" the data with tweet content and metadata.

Brandwatch plans to move all its customers to the new API in 2014.

Simply Measured announced that it has received $20 million in a Series C round of funding led by Trinity Ventures. Bessemer Venture Partners, Four Rivers Group, MHS Capital and other existing investors also participated in the round, which brings Simply Measured's total venture capital raised to $28.9 million.

People Pattern Announces Beta

People Pattern announced the beta release of its audience discovery and engagement platform. This is the new company of Spredfast co-founder Ken Cho and University of Texas professor Jason Baldridge.

Synthesio announced that it has received $20 million in funding from the European private equity firm Idinvest Partners. The company plans to use the investment for continued research, product development, and growth of its operation located in New York, London, Paris, and Singapore.

Google announced that it is shifting its investments in the Wildfire Social Marketing Suite to integrating Wildfire with the company's ad tech platform. The Wildfire product line will continue to be supported, but Google is ending work on new features and does not intend to sign up new Wildfire customers.

Linkfluence Acquires TrendyBuzz

Linkfluence announced that it has acquired its competitor TrendyBuzz. The founders of TrendyBuzz will assume leadership roles in the combined company, which counts €7 million revenue in France and Germany, more than 200 clients and 70 employees.

The company also announced that it has received €3 million in new funding from Sigma Gestion, Orkos Capital and Banexi Ventures Partners.

Colligent has rolled out its new name and a software update. Both the company and its software platform—previously Affinity Map—have been rebranded Affinity Answers.

As CEO Sree Nagarajan explained, "The name reflects our own belief that we're not simply providing our clients with data, software, insights, consulting, or targeting. Rather, we're focused on using consumer affinity data to provide them with answers to their specific brand marketing questions. That belief led us to change the name of both the company and the service we provide."

Salorix shut down last May following a disagreement between the company and its investors, according to reports from The Economic Times and Techcircle. Nexus Venture Partners and Inventus Capital reportedly stopped funding the company after Salorix declined acquisition offers from Google in 2012 and 2013.
