NM Incite and Clarabridge announced a partnership agreement in which the companies will share social media data and analytics capabilities. Initially, Clarabridge is integrating NM Incite’s social media data for deeper text analysis, which is now available to existing NM Incite customers.

Linkfluence (RTGI SAS) announced that it has received €2 million in its first round of venture financing. Orkos Capital led the round, which included CIC (the French bank, not the SMA company in China), Société Générale, and OSEO.

Radian6 Announces Insights

Radian6 announced Radian6 Insights at its Social2011 user conference. The system combines the capabilities of multiple partners to give Radian6 a new ability to extract information from social media. The demonstration featured capabilites from OpenCalais, OpenAmplify, Klout; Radian6 plans to add more analytics partners.

In a second announcement, the company introduced its Summary Dashboard, a single-window, tabbed user interface. The new interface is built in HTML5, so it runs on tablet computers. Individual widgets have their own URLs for embedded in other sites and applications.

The company also announced a mobile app for iOS devices, which will be included in the price of the platform.

KANA Software announced that it has acquired Overtone. The company plans to incorporate Overtone's social media and customer intelligence capabilities into its Service Experience Management (SEM) platform, as well as to continue to support and develop Overtone's OpenMic product. Overtone was known as Island Data until January 2009.
