J.D. Power Taps Clarabridge, NetBase

J.D. Power & Associates announced separate technology agreements with Clarabridge and NetBase. JDPA, which acquired SMA specialist Umbria in 2008, will use software from NetBase to analyze social media platforms and from Clarabridge to analyze verbatim texts from CRM systems and survey responses.

Mediafax launched Mediafax Monitorizare (Mediafax Monitoring), a real-time blog and Twitter monitoring service specializing in Romanian sources. The new service builds on the company's existing monitoring services for Romanian traditional and online media.

Trendrr introduced Trendrr V3, an analytics platform that blends content analysis with social network activity tracking and integrated response capabilities. In addition to service-specific metrics for Twitter and Facebook, the new Trendrr reports location-based metrics from Foursquare and Gowalla.

Pricing starts at $499/month. A 14-day trial is available. The earlier, free version remains available through October 8.

Attensity RespondAttensity launched Attensity Respond for Social Media, which combines the routing and response capabilities Attensity built for contact center customers to the SMA platform aquired in Biz360 (now known as Attensity360).

The new product features a new user interface for responding in social media and adds automated triage, interaction tracking, and contact metrics to Attensity360's existing monitoring and analysis features.

Maritz Research Buys Evolve24

Maritz Research announced its acquisition of evolve24, adding evolve24's SMA software platform and research services to its existing market research portfolio. Both companies are based in Saint Louis.
