Autonomy Bridges Content Management, Analytics

Autonomy announced Autonomy Interwoven Social Media Analysis today, combining the search and text analytics capabilities of the company's Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) platform with content management systems acquired with Interwoven in January.

Features of the bundle:

  • Content aggregation from social media sources and client-proprietary data sources
  • IDOL analytics: clustering, pattern matching, sentiment
  • Integration with the company's TeamSite, LiveSite and Optimost products to modify content and offers based on social media sentiment and emerging trends.
In addition to typical SMA applications, the combination of SMA and CMS allows for the modification of web content based on social media activity. Other category-blurring extras include customer surveys and product ratings.
