Autonomy announced Autonomy Interwoven Social Media Analysis today, combining the search and text analytics capabilities of the company's Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) platform with content management systems acquired with Interwoven in January.
Features of the bundle:
Techrigy has announced its acquisition of Andiamo Systems, a competitor in the SMA platform space. The combined company will retain the Techrigy name and employees and offices from both companies, while existing Andiamo customers have been moved to the Techrigy SM2 platform. Andiamo's San Francisco offices give the Rochester, NY-based Techrigy its first West Coast presence.
Both companies are privately held, with no disclosed outside investors.

RightNow Technologies is adding social media monitoring capabilities to its CRM platform with Cloud Monitor, available in the May '09 release. The new feature monitors Twitter and YouTube for customer comments, using sentiment analysis to prioritize items for response by users of the CRM system. via SearchCRM, InformationWeek

Everyone's analyzing American Idol this week, although the final result proved the danger of predictions. On the tube, CNN introduced an analysis of Twitter discussions by Crimson Hexagon. Twitter analysis will become a regular feature on CNN's touch screens.
Jacob Apelbaum has joined Networked Insights as vp of technology. Apelbaum was most recently vp of engineering at ITInnovision.

Moreover has announced the completion of its acquisition from Verisign, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN) by a private investor group led by Paul J. Farrell, who joins the company as CEO. The former Real-Time Publisher Services (RTP) business, which includes content aggregation and ping server services, will be relaunched as Moreover Technologies, Inc.
Gaurav Mishra announced plans for 20:20 Web Tech, a new SMA company he is starting with 20:20 Media founder Sunil Agarwal. The Delhi-based company plans to partner with existing SMA platform companies and will focus initially on US clients.

Vanno users contribute links to online sources (à la Digg), along with votes and discussion that form the basis for companies' reputation scores.
